Wyndara Black Sheep was established in 2016 by Belinda Amess and is based in South West Victoria. The Wyndara flock is made up of over 100 Black & Coloured Polwarth sheep producing beautiful fleeces of 19-25 micron on a Responsible Wool Standard certified farm for its ethical & sustainable farming practices. The sheep come in all shades of black and grey through to white and in solid colour, patches and spots and almost all have names. The fleeces are then either sold to spinners or are combined into bales to be processed entirely in Western Victoria into tops and commercially spun yarn, with all processing occurring within 250km of the farm. Belinda also likes to get crafty in her spare time and makes crafted items from her wool for a full paddock to product experience.
