At Lucy Land, we produce 17 micron super-fine, super squishy 4 and 8-ply yarn, grown completely chemically free, single sourced from our magnificent merinos in Bulahdelah, on the Mid North Coast of NSW. We also craft unique, handmade crocheted garments.

Lucy Lamb, my much loved pet sheep, needed a peaceful retirement, so we created Lucy Land— a sanctuary for her and many more animal friends. We hold the highest regard for all our animals, enabling them to live in harmony with the land.

Our commitment to sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. We sequester over 400kg of carbon each day, generate all our own electricity, collect and store our own water, and grow most of our own food.

Rather than reinventing the wheel, we draw on the wisdom of pioneers like Pat Coleby, Peter Andrews and Joel Salatin, applying principles of Permaculture, Holistic Management and Natural Sequence Farming.

Our goal is to nurture a self-sustaining, abundant ecosystem where every element is respected and allowed to flourish to its fullest potential. In essence, we’re simply working with Mother Nature, letting her do what she does best.
