I’m Elisha, I started Natural Yarn Co with my Mum Kathryn in 2022. What started out as a mission to dye beautiful natural fibres to knit and crochet for my newborn son, ended up being the perfect postpartum addiction! Initially mum was on babysitting and knitting/ crochet sample duties but after having a go at dyeing she became addicted too! Neither of us can stay away from the dye pans for more than a couple of days.

I have a background in fashion design and production and mum is a semi-retired Assistant Principal. I recently moved from the outskirts of Sydney on Dharawal land to the picturesque Hilltops Region in rural NSW. We are so lucky to live on a beautiful patch of land with a few sheep and Alpacas. We love this incredible country we live in and you’ll find many of our colours are inspired by the flora, fauna and places we love!
