Our Purpose
The Australian Fibre Collective is a not for profit Association, formed with the aim of increasing awareness of the Australian Fibre and Textile Industry whilst eliminating some of the confusion in the market place regarding Australian made Fibre and Textile products. Licensees who use our Registered Trade Mark, have been carefully audited by Australian Fibre Collective Inc. representatives, to ensure that the products displaying the Trade Mark are indeed 100% Australian grown, manufactured and or crafted products.
Our Aims

The promotion of 100% Australian grown and fully Australian manufactured fibre products.

To enable consumers to readily identify authentic 100% Australian grown and Australian manufactured fibre products.

Encourage transparency of supply chain from fleece to finished product.

Encourage the use of sustainable low carbon footprint fibres.

Educate consumers about fibre products; the supply chain.

To be the representative organisation for all people involved in the production of Australian Fibre and textile products irrespective of what stage/s in the supply chain in which they are involved.

Encourage Collective member monitoring of fibre products in order to maintain credibility in our brand.
Am I eligible to become a licencee

All 100% Australian grown and manufactured and / or crafted natural fibre products are eligible to be licensed use the Australian Fibre Collective registered Trade Mark.

If the conditions above are met, any Australian business , at at any point in the supply chain, from the raw natural fibre through to a finished fibre product is eligible to apply to use the Australian Fibre Collective registered Trade Mark.

All imported fibre products irrespective of their origins are ineligible for licensing to use the Australian Fibre Collective registered Trade Mark.

Products whose composition includes synthetic or man made fibres or products including natural fibres sourced from overseas are ineligible to be licensed to use the Australian Fibre Collective registered Trade Mark.

​Any Australian Grown fibre which has left Australia for any part of its manufacturing is ineligible for licensing to use the Australian Fibre Collective registered Trade Mark.
Applying to become a licencee

Read and understand your obligations under the Australian Fibre Collective Inc. Code of Conduct. ï‚· Complete and sign the Australian Fibre Collective Registered Trade Mark Licensing Application Form.

Provide a list of all products to which you wish to affix the registered Australian Fibre Collective Trade Mark ( only include products on this list that you can prove are 100% Australian grown and manufactured Fibre Products). Proof of the Australian supply chain will be required to accompany this list.

Lodge your application with the Secretary of the Australian Fibre Collective Inc. together with the application fee
